Ephesians 6:11-13 instructs all Christians to “Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.”
Friends, this command from the Holy Spirit of God through the apostle Paul has gone largely unheeded by a majority of believers in times past. Thankfully this is changing today because God’s remnant people have become much more vocal about the present darkness enveloping America and indeed the World.
What do we need to know to live with wisdom, strength, and holiness today? How can we stand firm against the schemes of the devil if we do not understand the history behind his strategies and how those are being manifested today?
