And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:14
This is a full evidence that this entire portrayal has a place not just with time, but rather with eternity. Neither might distress, or crying, or agony, be any more: for the previous things are no more important.
Under the previous heaven, and upon the previous earth, there was pain and distress, crying and torment; all which occasioned numerous tears: but in this new heaven, torment and distress will be no more, and the holy people will have everlasting life and happiness.
