When I started to do some Architecture Photography in Linz I had to try some HDR on different locations. I know HDR gets boring after a few shootings and sometimes the effects are a litte bit over done but in some situations it can enhance the picture you made. When I walk through Linz with my Camera I like to capture some details of the City like this Train on the Train Station or the details in the cathedral. Today there is the medieval festival in Linz and I was there for a short walk in the afternoon, to visit all the food stands and watch the artists. There are a lot of people with children there visiting all the knights and castle ladies that sell medieval products and show their art in different crafts. Up there on the Hill in Linz is the Temple of the Aphrodite.
Then I also saw the Finance Tower with the Tax Offic in Linz (Tax office is always one of the biggest and most expensive buildings - with our taxes they can afford it. :-(

At the Train Station in Linz there are a lot of trains arriving and departing to several destinations in Austria and abroad. I am not so much into trains but I know a friend who knows them all and is really into seeing them all. For me trains have to be beautiful and offer a good comfort on travelling but nothing more. This pictures shows a relatively old train model of the ÖBB (Austrian Train company). At the main train station in Linz there is also the tax office situated, look at the last building in this article.
