One Less Gun on the Streets of Koh Chang

During the @steemfest 4 afterparty on Koh Chang, @dylanhobalart decided to organize a small @cleanplanet cleanup initiative after trekking to the Khlong Phlu Waterfall. @celestal and I decided to join along. This was my first @cleanplanet project and it felt good to make a minor dent in the vast amounts of trash littering the planet. Below is a picture of @dylanhobalart picking up some trash along the side of the road.

There was tons of single-use plastic bags and other plastic materials on the ground. We filled up our garbage bags quickly. One of the coolest pieces of trash that I found was this broken toy gun. It felt good to know that I was helping to take guns off the streets of Koh Chang.

From left to right you can see my bag, @dylanhobalart's bag and @celestal's bag. We filled up these trash bags in a matter of minutes alongside a main road in Koh Chang. There is so much garbage that it could be overwhelming to think about. But if everyone went out and made a dent by cleaning up some garbage around them, perhaps we would soon start to see a difference.
