After watching Doug's most recent video about SHOTS FIRED! Vitalik Buterin Declares WAR On Coin Desk, it seems he is looking to add to the roster of writers on the (his? more on that below) site:

Overall its a fairly flashy-looking site that appears to be positioning itself as a rival to Coindesk for news and hence bills itself as follows:
CoinCentral is an independent publication covering news and information on cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and their underlying blockchain technology.
Given Polk's recent video concerning Coindesk's potential conflicts of interests in their reporting, the only bone of contention I have with Polk's own website is its completely opaque managing interests -- the sites About section is a single line (the quote above forms its totality) and without being directed towards the the website by the man himself, I would be clueless about where this 'independent' coverage is originating from.
But if you're looking to make some bank writing about crypto-- why not give it a shot and apply!
