This is my contribution on @everlove's collaborative art journey.

This was the original image to be used for the collaboration.
The art is captioned 'Take Action' and has a lot of movement to it. The words made me think about all the various ways we take action and possible ways to represent them graphically. A fist is a classic sign of rebellion that is all about taking action, but it needn't always be violent. A lot of people from Gandhi to Bob Marley have found non-violent ways to step up and take action through speech and song. I thought I'd work off that idea and use a fist holding a mike as central design element and progress from there.
The Process
I used Adobe Illustrator for my editing.

I use a royalty free image of a fist as a clipping mask on @everlove's artwork.

I add the mike and then group and arrange the images in a radial pattern. I noticed the square formation in the middle and added an image I'd made using a phone app called Mirror Lab.

I use silhouettes of an image of a sound wave as a clipping mask on the base image and arrange them around my central pattern.

After some duplicating and reflecting I arrive at this. I add a few finishing touches and change the background to black to bring the colours out and I'm done.
Mirror Lab is a great app for editing and allows you to come up with amazing results by applying different effects. I was messing around with it using @everlove's picture as a base and got some great results from it.

I used these edits in a collage for a beautiful fractal derived from the original art work.

I love the idea of a collaborative art journey, and had fun remixing the original picture. It's amazing seeing all the different interpretations and I'm glad to be part of this journey!
