There have been many factors leading up to this unfortunate decision but it is one that has to be made, so that our community of funny people can continue to grow and spread the news with love and harmony.
It is with a heavy (and very sexy) heart we have to regretibly announce the stopping of Comedy Open Mic Espanol Comedy Contest. This isn't a permanent stop more so a temporary one so that we are able to take stock and regroup and relaunch the community contest all the stronger.
We've had a few technical issues of late and now with the steem price dropping ever lower we're having funding issues also. It's come to the point where we cannot justify continuing to fund this contest with so little money coming in. We're hoping to take a 1-2 week break from your usual programming and then attack with mucho gusto (Ok I know a little spanish, shoot me).
We hope that on it's return the Comedy Open Mic Espanol Comedy Contest will be stronger, faster, and better than Kanye West at a drag show.

Ha habido muchos factores que condujeron a esta decisión desafortunada, pero es uno que tiene que hacerse, para que nuestra comunidad de personas divertidas pueda seguir creciendo y difundir las noticias con amor y armonía.
Es con un corazón pesado (y muy sexy) que lamentablemente anunciamos la finalización del Concurso de comedia Comedy Open Mic Espanol. Esta no es una parada permanente, sino más temporal, para que podamos hacer un balance, reagruparnos y relanzar el concurso comunitario con más fuerza.
Hemos tenido algunos problemas técnicos en los últimos tiempos y ahora que el precio del Steem cae cada vez más bajo, también tenemos problemas de financiación. Ha llegado al punto en que no podemos justificar continuar financiando este concurso con tan poco dinero entrando. Esperamos tomar un descanso de 1-2 semanas de su programación habitual y luego atacar con mucho gusto (Ok, sé un poco de español , dispararme).
Esperamos que a su regreso, el Concurso de Comedia Open Mic Español Comedy sea más fuerte, más rápido y mejor que Kanye West en un show de resistencia.
