Yesterday, my wife Silvia, a friend of us and me went to Lucca to visit the 52° LuccaComics&Games convention. The fair is the biggest and most important of its kind in Europe, and the second in the World (after the Comitek in Tokyio).
Lucca is just 20 km far from our city so we both have been many times to the fair in the past years. (I say that just to cause cryplectibles 's envy :D
Anyway, it was a chaotic frenzy there. 80,000 tickets sold just for yesterday, not counting all the visitors that just wanted to stay in the streets and didn't bought the ticket. In fact, LuccaComics&Games happens in the streets of the the little city of Lucca were most of the people walks around and show their cosplay costumes. You need the ticket to enter the stands and exhibitions though.
We too walked in the streets and took shots of the most amazing cosplayers, before going to visit the exhibition of the great french illustrator Benjamin Lacombe. Unfortunately, it was impossible to enter in the stands because of the very long lines of people in front of each one of them. Ok, maybe I'm too old for conventions like that :D
BUT next year we will wear our costumes too! It's a promise! :D
