1. The Highly Illogical Thing We All Fall Prey To**
Author: @rocking-dave

Have you ever been affected by tribal pride? You will be surprised to know that some things that we may be proud of may be against logic. @rocking-dave writes about negative consequences of tribal pride including racism and even violence on the football field.
All of it boils down to a need to belong which ultimately becomes so polarizing that it could go out of control. A masterpiece in philosophical content.

2. Off Grid Adventures - What Can You Live Without?
Author: @maryt

The author moves to a new home after liking the location and thus begins her experience with solar energy. When you live in a home powered by the sun you need to make a shortlist of items that really need to be charged so that you don't waste energy. Saving energy could mean doing without airconditioning or microwaving food!
However, @maryt was able to adapt quickly and learn energy conservation along with her family with an off-grid existence. She writes about her experience in her post.

3. Going Plant-Based and a Butternut Squash & Cauliflower Slow Cooker Soup Recipe!
Author: @plantstoplanks

Do you know the difference between vegan and plant-based food? @plantstoplanks writes about how she keeps fit and experiences the joy of consuming plant-based food. An increased fiber intake can take time getting used to but can make you healthier than before.
As a bonus she also gives us the recipe of a delicious Butternut Squash and Cauliflower Soup, which you can prepare in a few easy steps given in the post.

4. Karaoke Contest submission Week 5 - Fallin (Alicia Keys) cover
Author: @topkpop

This post has a cover versions of the hit song Fallin, originally sung by Alicia Keys. I listened to both one after the other and frankly there was very little difference between the original version and the song sung by @topkpop.
She has an amazing voice! Could get even better and give celebrity singers a run for their money.

5. Incoherent Ramble (A poem)
Author: @daniellekunesh
A beautiful poem by @daniellekunesh. A line in her poem sums it up for everyone - "Life is only considered precious because of the promise of death".
Even though it is a collection of shorter poems as she has mentioned in her post each line brings up a whole new meaning.

Congratulations To The Featured Authors!
@lrocking-dave, @maryt, @plantstoplanks, @topkpop and @daniellekunesh.
Steem On and keep creating good content!
