
Hello and Welcome to Max Curation Edition No. 4!
In this issue 5 wonderful posts by upcoming Steemit authors have been highlighted.
Max Curation stands for "maximizing curation", a curation initiative on Steemit. The aim of initiative is to curate good content that is high quality but yet did not get the attention that they deserve. Here are the criteria on which this curation is based.
Some basic criteria for being selected are given below
- Only posts by authors up with a reputation of 25-55 are eligible.
- The post must not have earned more than $2 in the first 2 hours after being published.
- Only original content
- English only
- No introduction posts
In order to encourage curation and promote the creation of quality content on Steemit it is highly recommended to do the following with the selected posts in this edition:

1. Musicians!! 5 Steps to Make Your Audio Great!

Do you wish to make your audios sound great without spending hours on editing it? Whether you would like to improve your podcast or just edit your video commentaries you follow the easy steps given by @corganmusic in his 10-minute video with the steps given in the post. You can use the trial version of Ableton live 9 if you want to improve your audio with the software. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, and comparing the audio clip before and after the editing proves that the steps work.

2. Why and HOW to make SUPER SIMPLE Cold Brew Coffee!

Do you know the easiest way to make coffee? Here it is in @allforthegood's post in which she lists out the simple steps for preparing coffee - with some nice pictures, using a french press. She also gives some good reasons as to why you should make cold brew coffee at home. Use the recipe and smell the coffee every day!

In this rather simplistic post, @jaje describes how she started her business selling books and collectibles collected from bargains, and continued with it online. She is happy with it now that she is also on Steemit - as she says in the end it is enough for not having a day job to go too. Many who may have come online for different reasons, will be able to relate to her story.

If you like macro photography, you will appreciate the clarity of this image of a 3mm small bug, posted by @digitalis. Taken at eye level, it is remarkable that such a small insect could be shot so well. Small is beautiful!

5. Tutorial: How to photograph Lightning

Ever wondered how you can capture lightning using your camera? If you have a camera with manual controls, remote shutter release and a tripod then you are all set to take a lightning shot. Just follow the steps given by @fiftysixnorth. In fact, you will have the opportunity to take several lightning bolts in the one shot. He also gives some useful tips that you could use after you shoot the pictures.
