It seems like every week we have more great announcements for upcoming projects and platforms that will help provide everyone with more options to earn rewards for their content. At first you may find this to be an overwhelming proposition, keeping track of so many different accounts to post on multiple platforms, but it's no different than what everyone already does with current 'non-paying' centralized social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
The upside will be well worth the effort. You will have genre-specific communities popping up that will allow you to share your content with people you know will accept what you create with open arms and reward you fairly for your efforts and contributions. This will help lower the level of hostility and content censorship you have with a single platform scenario like we have now. Imagine posting your content on 3 or 4 crypto-backed blockchain sites and getting rewarded for it on all of them. Even if your content is controversial on one or more, and you take heat for it, you will be well-received on others.
As I have been saying for a while now, 2018 will be a great year for all of us willing to keep our eyes and options open. Thank you to everyone who helped make it another great week, my 35th here on Steemit.

I am happy to be coordinating and judging the weekly art and community building challenges for @OfficialFuzzy. These challenges are a great way to bring people together and spread the work about important topics in a fun way that people will remember. As I mentioned before, I am no longer in the running for any of the challenge rewards since I am helping to coordinate and judge the entries, but I will always participate just for fun to add my point-of-view to the mix.
This past week we continued with a few multi-week challenges and the second in a new series of EOSTalk Meetup Art Challenges that will add to the Meetup Support Toolkit. For those following along with the VICE Token crowdsale, as I noted before, the date was pushed back 2 weeks and is now set for February 20, with whitelist access starting a day early on February 19. The recent double dip in crypto prices as we retested the lows this week it made us all a bit nervous on the timing, but ETH has been slowly creeping its way back up to $1,000 where we were at on the original crowdsale date. Fingers Crossed!
