If you haven't read the post that started all this, I advise that you do, or you'll be awfully confused. The RAK Initiative (Thanks to @scaredycatguide for the awesome name!) is meant to encourage positivity, constructive feedback, and general kindness towards others on Steemit, even if it's not someone you know or have spoken to before.
The first post linked above didn't feel like it had enough "meat" to encourage people to participate, so I wanted to step it up a notch.
Introducing: The RAK-Swarm!
I've created a channel named #rak in the Steemit Chat that everyone is welcome to join! This RAK chat will feature discussion between users, but for the most part it's where we will host the RAK-Swarms!
Wait, what the hell is a RAK-Swarm?
Every Friday (days and frequency can be negotiated) I will randomly select a user that's in the #rak channel, and everyone who is willing/able will send that person a RAK! Ideally, we'll have lots of people in the channel, so when a user gets RAK-Swarmed, they'll receive loads of compliments and nice little gifts to make their day/night!
When you send someone a RAK in a RAK-Swarm, you should have the memo include "RAK-Swarm" instead of the standard "RAK" so people know they got chosen to be swarmed! Try your best to attach a nice compliment to the RAK-Swarm too, it's not just about the money! These work exactly like normal RAKs, except for the tag in the public memo.

- Join the #rak channel in Steemit Chat so you can participate!
- Help me discuss the terms of the #rak channel! I want your ideas and input about the days of the RAK-Swarms, their frequency, and also what will be allowed in the chat (post promotion, etc.)!
