Isn’t he just precious? I have loved Siberian Huskies since I was a little guy.
My favorite movie is still Iron Will. The loyal yet feisty sled dogs in that picture have cemented my desire to have a husky.
Yes, the disclaimer here is that we don’t have a husky yet. The complex we live in is not the friendliest for animals so alas we wait till @mustardseed finishes up this stage of schooling.
Family Pets
My family is a bit weird in the pets we keep around the homestead. None of us have ever owned a dog or cat.
Our pets growing up were snakes, lizards, domesticated rats, ducks, and rabbits. We even had chickens until our neighbors grew tired of the noise.
It is always amusing to see the resemblance dog and cat owners have to their pets. Not sure what that says about my family growing up with our menagerie of animals.
