My brother and I had an adventurous drive through the PA mountains when we worked at a metal fabrication shop.
One of our customers was in desperate need of parts to build their section of a JLG product, and we volunteered to deliver them.
When I say parts, I mean engine mounts for a man-lift. In total, we had 15-16 tons on a trailer and flat-bed operation.
That weight was all that our truck could handle, and we crawled 15-20 mph up the mountain.
Yes, we were a hazard, and we prayed all the way down the mountain as we smelled our brakes melting away. We laugh about it now wondering what we were thinking.

Abi had a near accident this past week as she traveled to Louisville for an admissions booth.
The windshield on one of our vehicles started cracking, and only increased as the trip continued.
There was one crack where water began to seep in with the wiper blades sloshing the water around.

When we scheduled an immediate appointment for Louisville, there was nothing available before Abi needed to return.
We prayed her home with a cracked windshield. Guerrilla Tape did the job as a sealer and adhesive to keep my girl safe.
