If you’re like my family, tv is not something you watch on a consistent basis. While we enjoy a good movie here and there, most of our time together is spent playing board games.
We have come to find that guests are more than willing to stay long into the evening if there are board games involved. As such, we keep a variety of games available to satisfy all connoisseurs.
To date, we have 2 games that we frequently play with guests and as a family. Those 2 games are Acquire, and Fact or Crap.

Acquire is a game of strategy and finances. While each player has game pieces that build the companies on the board, each player is working to have a controlling interest in that company.
The winner of Acquire is the person with the most stock in the most valuable companies. You can win by holding cash, but it is unlikely you’re stash will grow big enough.

Fact or Crap is a game that anyone can play, and anyone will receive a good laugh from.
The premise is simple - one player reads a card of random facts to the group playing, and they decide whether they think it is a fact or crap.
While running for President, John McCain jumped into a mosh pit and body surfer at Burning Man.
Sound far fetched? That’s because it is crap. If you were the first player to call it correctly then you win a point. Here’s another one.
Sharks do not get cancer.
While there are points involved, there is no limit to how many points you need to win. We normally play until our laugh meter is empty and our abs hurt.
