Hello fellow Hiveans, everyday we see someone is in trouble and as soon as we see them, we pray for them thinking that it will do some good to them. But, instead of showing sympathy if anything we can do in our power, then we should do it for them. It's called showing compassion towards others. We can understand others pain only if we had dealt one ourselves before or if we can think of by thinking that we are in their situation, then only we can realise their pain and struggles. When we convert this thoughts of showing compassion towards others in to action, we can create a significant positive impact on other life and as well as on ourselves too. The power of compassion putting in it to show others that being able to understand others and helping for their well being in their struggle time of life, it brings a great change in this world filled with differences and religion aspects.
Just being present in the situation of our friends and relatives can make a big difference, it shows that no matter what the situation is we were there for them. If a person understands that being present nowadays is not a simple task to complete, as with our daily activities and our work life doing all the work we can to move our life vehicle. Sometimes people tend to listen for only to just respond or try to fix the problem immediately, but if we try to listen what the person is saying fully and just listen the words they are saying, people will get the feeling that they are being heard and valued. These type of simple things make a person powerful when they are in hardship. Even though if we don't have a solution for their situation, but just listening to what they are saying can be mood swinger for others.
A simple smile can go a longway for you. Maybe it's just a simple act of kindness, but it can make a profound impact on others than we realize. These type of simple gestures like a word of encouragement, a handwritten note or just allowing a person to speak without any interruptions can change the way they see their life who are struggling. These type of things don't require much effort, but they show that you care about them and compassionate about them. Being reminded that they are not alone in their struggles by doing these kind of acts and can build an atmosphere for them to feel warth and empathy. These kind of acts are contagious as if you show it to others and they might show some compassion towards some others too.
Some would stand up for others, especially for those who can't standup or speak for themselves towards those who bully them. These type of act requires courage to drive the others in their social, work, and community life by confronting the injustice suffering doing to them by others. These form of act involves stepping out of your comfort zone to show that you are there to protect them from the vulnerable position they were in. This will put the person's dignity and living environment of others will be acknowledged and respected.
Showing compassion is not a limited deal like grand gestures or significant sacrifices but by making it fuse with our daily routine habits and practicing it to integrate in our lives and regular efforts. It can be as simple as just checking up on a friend or a relative or a colleague, offering help to your neighbour can enroch our lives and for those who are around us. This is called building your whole neighbourhood with your values and kind actions by simple examples rather than being away from others. Try to blend in with others, talk to them and be there for them instead of searching for excuses.
Unknowingly compassion can build our character and gives us a unrealised purpose towards the world we live in. It will made us realize that showing compassion towards eachother can be intertwined with eachother. It also improves our way of thinking and increase our happiness with a lot. It will shift our self centred personality to being a good person in our lives. Each compassionate action however small it can be, it may bring one step closer to a better world where everyone help eachother.
