Years ago I learned about Prolog. It was one of the first computer languages that promoted the hope of artificial intelligence. In the end, I found the concept to be an illusion. 
Where do thoughts come from? Are all thoughts sensory and logical? I say NO!
Inspiration is impossible to replicate. Creativity with purpose is a human thing.
A robot can be trained to repeat a task with precision, A robot will never be able to imagine or dream.
Expert systems have become very complex. A refrigerator may be able to order groceries, but it can never learn my taste preferences. Coffee, tea, juice,water or beer is an unpredictable decision.
There will always be human decisions to make as long as freedom has value.
