Conscious Music you have probably never heard of | #69 | LX-D @ Antaris 2019

One of the best psy and fullon sets I ever heard was played by LX-D at Antaris festival this summer, an artist I had never heard about but was phantastically amazed by. It was one of those funny moments, I had danced a long night and eventually went to my tent to catch some sleep before sunrise. And then it happened - through my ear plugs I heard him play in the late morning hours on the mainfloor, the air carrying the soundwaves over to our little camp on the camping grounds, and I felt called. I pulled the earplugs out of my ears and was suddenly fully awake. Inspired. Infused.

I went out of my tent and met a good friend of mine who came just out of his tent and said exactly the same thing to me: I don't know who is playing but it woke me up, I was suddenly awake and couldn't stay in the tent any longer. We both marvelled, this sort of thing rarely happens.

His music was warm, heartfelt, and inspiring co-creation among people. It seeded immense trust, courage and love between people and was a real privilege to experience. I am always thrilled when I hear artists who care deeply and make the translation to sound happen in a most wonderful way.

I am freaking happy to tell you, I found exactly the set he played that magical morning, on his soundcloud account. Yay!

I am certain we'll hear much more from the man as the years go on and I will definitely be on the floor next time I find him on a lineup on the enxt festival circuit.
