Soft like a summer's breeze and cuddly like a winter blanket, Motion Drive's "Chill Out Realms" is a soothing and marvellously contemplative experience to undergo, a solid and unwavering opportunity to recharge and relax, to put the worries of our daily lives on hold while we kick back and allow our minds to calm down to the engaging tunes that paint glorious scenes and keen atmospheres in sonics.

It's one of those chillout and downtempo releases I find myself going back to rather often, maybe due to its uncomplicated and steady character that feels like much needed solace at times, constantly offering healing vibes and tremendous insights into my self.

There certainly is something to be said about the gentle character of soft basslines that lay the foundation for outright cushions of sound. Awesome.

And while the record is not boundary- and genre-defying in a strict sense it certainly is an awesome album to have available for days of stress and high demands because it's just so mellow and laid-back!

Naturally, the record works also really well for enjoying psychedelic states of the mind because of its... straight delivery and sense-tickling detours.
