The stock market is the dictionary definition of a Ponzi Scheme. Investors almost never receive any of the "profit" from the companies they invest in. Therefore, where is the money coming from? It almost always comes from OTHER INVESTORS putting money into the system. When new people stop pumping in money, there is no return on investment and the entire system fails.
