I started with an idea, the idea came from a friend who I had come of the phone too, who had been out last night with his wife and had been served a soup that had a green coloured fly in it.

This is very stereotypical subject as people tell this tale all the time, but the funny thing is, he told me he nearly fell off his chair when he saw it.

So here is the compleated drawing followed by the steps I took to get where I did.

then my favourite bit is the fly in the soup having a bath.
