There are so many contests, challenges and competitions on the Steem platform.
They offer such a great opportunity for people to have fun, engage with others on the platform, and win prizes - STEEM, tokens, upvotes.
After I did the first list a couple of weeks ago I got a lot of feedback and suggestions for other contests to include. And I have been keeping my eyes peeled for more.
I am sure I am still missing a good number but for this edition of the Contests Roundup we have 36 active contests listed.
These contests are comprised of 7 Arts & Craft related contests, 7 Food & Drink, 3 Music, 1 Pets, 6 Photography, 2 Travel, 4 Writing, and 6 Miscellaneous. Something for everyone!

Contests are a great way for newcomers especially to get more involved in the platform and to build up connections.
They may also be a good way to attract people to join Steem - everyone likes the chance to win something for free.
