She has lost so much blood with no strength in her again. Crying in pain on the bed, sleeping on her belly in great pain, calling for help but to no avail. She decided to use every bit of strength in her to seek for help, she got off the bed crawling like a snake in great discomfort. She cursed the day she met Mike and silently pray she finds help, her heart was beating faster and she was thinking; is this the end for me?
Her name is Bola, a very attractive young lady, with nice curvatures, beautiful set of eyes and a wish of every man. She was a beauty to behold, modest and a very humble lady who was raised by her Grandma after losing her parents to a fatal accident. Bola is very brilliant and well loved by everyone around, hardworking and always commited to her studies. Everything was working well for her since she was the best graduating student in St Mary Anglican College she was awarded a scholarship that will help her further her dream as an Accountant.
After writing her Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE) and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME), she was finally admitted to the University of Lagos where she sought to pursue her dream. It was a mixed feeling of emotions when she was about leaving Ikare for Lagos, her Grandma was happy her granddaughter is going to the University and also sad she will be missing her dear Bola. Before leaving for Lagos, her grandma gave her some words of advice and prayed for her.
Been a good girl she took every word of her grandma to heart. On getting to the University, she met Tolu, a Lagos girl who happened to be her roommate. Bola and Tolu became good friends, sharing every moment together, they were both serious students but Tolu as a person loves partying as she is civilized and from the Lagos metropolis.
Bola's nightmare all began when she met Mike at the Freshers welcome party. Mike is a dashing young man from a very rich family, he is well known around the institution and a year three(300Level) student of Mass Communication. Mike is a known womanizer, with charming smile of which he bewitches ladies. Bola met Mike at the party when he requested to have a dance with her. She was reluctant at first but was compelled by Tolu that since it was just a dance. A dance later metamorphosed to a date. Bola fell in love with Mike and that was just the beginning of her troubles.
After six weeks into the relationship, Mike started pestering her for sex which was believed to be a norm. Bola has fallen in love with him but she kept remembering her Grandma's advice. With the fear of losing Mike(the love of her life) she yielded after so much pressure. After some weeks she felt ill and went to the School's health center for treatment where she got the shocking news of her pregnancy. She was bittered, crying profusely, thinking of her Grandma words of advice; she wept bitterly.
She went looking for Mike to inform him of the new development. Mike was not fazed by the news and assured her there is no problem. Not knowing Mike had a plan. Coincidentally, examinations was around the corner. In sorrow and in deep thoughts, she managed writing her exams and was prepared to travel back to Ikare. A day to her traveling around 6pm she visited Mike who seized the opportunity to assure her he'll come to her hometown and see her grandma concerning the issue. Hearing this, she felt at ease and again all her troubles seem gone. Mike went out to get her a bottle of soft drinks which he served in a glass cup. She took it as she used to and was ready to leave for her hostel and they both bade farewell to each other.
Bola's Grandma was very glad to see her granddaughter without a knowledge of her pregnancy. The following morning after she arrived Ikare, Grandma went to the farmto harvest some crops leaving Bola behind in the house. After some minutes at which Grandma left for the farm, Bola began to bleed profusely. Mike had placed an abortive pill in the drink she took yesterday before leaving Lagos. She cried in discomfort, crawling towards the door to seek for help........
Is this really going to be her end?
Is Grandma going to arrive in time?
I don't even know myself...
