A classic example of (US) government contracts.... (massively) overpriced, and generally sub standard technology. Government contracts seem to have been massively overpriced since forever. Sub standard technology certainly a recent complaint.
My speculation regarding reasons for substandard quality and/or tech.... How many Americans are "high" on medicine? How many Americans are HIGH on illicit drugs? Did you know that worldwide there is a definite DECLINE in IQ for most people? The decline in IQ, in my opinion is NOT from birth, its more the onslaught of modern culture, including consumption of chemicals in the water supply.
