Contagion (2011)
The Hollywood film received funding and support from the UN via their Creative Community Outreach Initiative (CCOI).

Synopsis:
This thriller, directed by Steven Soderbergh, tells the story of an international team of doctors, coordinated by the World Health Organization (WHO), who have to deal with the rapid spread of a deadly pandemic virus.
CCOI’s Role:
CCOI facilitated consultations between the filmmakers and WHO to ensure a realistic depiction of the events. Moreover, CCOI organized the appearance of Margaret Chan, Director-General of WHO, as a guest speaker at the Global Creative Forum in Los Angeles in March 2011, which brought together experts from the UN system and leaders from the Hollywood film industry.
A fairly stunning revelation that I had no idea about until now.
Mulling this over, I can already hear the naysayers making excuses for such actions along the lines of "oh, that's totally normal, the filmmakers would have needed to seek advice from experts", which would be the same justification for drafting in the CIA and Intelligence services for advice about military themed films for example. But in both cases the advice they give in the context of the resulting narrative of the film is the key. The UN are unlikely to openly support and fund a film which depicts actions to which they are opposed to. This, then, presumably is a fairly important film to suggest (in 2011) a likely reaction from the powers that be to such a scenario.
I believe it's called something along the lines of 'pre-programming'.
