UK Eases Lockdown Rules
Our government has very slightly eased up on the lockdown in the UK. The changes aren't much, just that people can now go to work if they must. People are still required not to take the London Underground. They have to walk, cycle or take the bus.
People are also now allowed to visit public parks without exercising, but only with members of their own household. Meeting others in the park still isn't permitted.
In terms of the day-to-day, nothing has changed. People were already doing those things that are now allowed anyway. People here never follow the rules. All this does now is reduce the paperwork burden for the police.
All social distancing directives are still in place, including keeping a minimum distance from others while on queues. Talking of which, I've only been on one of these queues throughout this lockdown thing started. I had to buy some food at Tesco.
Nothing changes for me. I won't be going out anyway. I get my groceries delivered to my place now. I'm also lucky to be able to work from home. Maybe I'll venture out in June when summer really gets going. Perhaps I'll drive to a different town - to the beach somewhere secluded. That would be nice.
Peace & Love,
