There is more than just washing hands that we can do
I want to highlight and raise awareness for three awesome projects, that enable everyone to do their part to fight this nerve wrecking pandemic.
Folding@Home
This project is probably older than the internet, and probably the easiest to get started.
Similar to crypto mining, you can lend your CPU power to help search for a cure.
After initial quality control and limited testing phases, Folding@home team has released an initial wave of projects simulating potentially druggable protein targets from SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) and the related SARS-CoV virus (for which more structural data is available) into full production on Folding@home.
You do not need a client, and just set desease to "Any", covid is prioritized.
Boid and TELOS support
Boid and TELOS projects build up on Folding@Home: you get rewarded for using F@H if you use boid.com
CoVax by LiquidApps
LiquidApps has made the first move by providing the infrastructure and the DAPP Network services that are required for collaboration, but we are not alone. CoVax is a collaborative open-source project that is bringing together talented developers from the community in an effort to build out a comprehensive solution for fighting COVID-19.
