There are still 11.6% of 65+ that aren't fully vaccinated.
Only 56.3% of vaccinated 50+ are boosted. Only 64.6% of vaccinated 65+ are boosted.
A lot of high-risk people that aren't fully protected against Omicron.
Boosters matter. Compare the UK and US Omicron wave hospitalizations and deaths. There are stark differences. Make sure the eligible people in your life are up to date on their vaccinations.
As for the recent noise around Rogan and Spotify..
Yeah don't give me a whole spiel about free speech with Rogan and Spotify. Spotify didn't import 40 of Rogan's old controversial episodes as part of their $100 million exclusivity contract. Rogan was onboard with the move as well.
Episodes that were not brought to Spotify included Alex Jones, Sargon of Akkad, Gavin McInnes, Milo NoOneCaresOPoulos, Stefan Molyneux, Adam Kokesh, among others. As you can see Spotify clearly didn't want the Alt-Right guests on its platform.
They can do the same for the coronavirus misinformation episodes. They seemingly choose not to.
They also have removed coronavirus misinformation from their platform in the past. So they can and should bring Rogan's podcast in line with their existing content policies.
