Marble Mountain - The Mountain of Sculpture

Hello my adventurous friends,

The journey continues! If you read part one located HERE, or if you did not these are series of photos from marble Mountain. A jungle temple located on a spire of marble next to the coastline Vietnam.

I published a few photos several days ago, and as I process them I will keep posting them here tell you about the journey to this remarkable place.

Today will wee walk up more stairs adventure into the first of many caves on this Mountain.

---

1 : there is almost an endless river of stairs to walk up here. Your legs will definitely get a workout climbing up and down these.

2 : but when you reach the top you see this arch - you know you're almost there.

3 : this is the first cave you can venture into. Sort of reminds me of digging a hole in the sand with your hand.

4 : inside we find the first Buddha, but the secret relies in going around this particular altar where there is a small cave you can climb into.

5 : inside this cave it opens up and many bats rest on the ceiling overhead. you further adventure forward and climb out of a small crevice.

6 : the sky is a welcome sight, and you can see distant mountains

---

7 : on top of this first rise, the stones are very slippery as they are well worn marble, however you can look out and see the city of Danang off in the distance!

8 : of course what goes up must come down, and now you walk down many flights of stairs back to where you started, sort of.

---

9 : you arrive at the old gate, this is the main tourist area I would think for marble Mountain.

---

10 : Tomorrow will venture into the big cave, through this quite magical looking area and onto the main Vista.

---
