Ya se acerca una festividad del mes de octubre como lo es hallowen, realmente esta es festividad que no es nativa de mi país Venezuela; sin embargo muchos aquí lo celebran. Este origami de calabaza es ideal para decorar espacios para dicha celebración.
Es importante mencionar que la técnica de origami permite transformar el papel en figuras realizando dobles y así obtenemos lo que queremos realizar.
Greetings friends of this great community, today I bring you a paper craft on my blog. And it is to make a pumpkin with the origami technique.
A holiday in October is approaching, such as hallowen, really this is a holiday that is not native to my country Venezuela; however many here celebrate it. This origami pumpkin is ideal to decorate spaces for this celebration.
It is important to mention that the origami technique allows us to transform the paper into figures by making doubles and thus we obtain what we want to do.
Aquí les mostrare como realizarlo y que materiales necesitamos
Here I will show you how to do it and what materials we need
Materiales
- Cartulina de Color naranja
- Marcador negro.

Orange Card Stock
Black marker.
- Primero doblamos nuestra cartulina formando un triángulo, y el exceso lo cortamos para obtener el cuadrado que necesitamos para comenzar a trabajar.
First we fold our cardboard into a triangle, and cut the excess to get the square we need to start working.
- Realizamos los primos dobles en forma de X.
We make the double primes in the form of X.
- Después realizamos dobles de manera horizontal y vertical, obteniendo así los dobles básicos de un origami.
Then we make doubles horizontally and vertically, thus obtaining the basic doubles of an origami
- Colocamos nuestra cartulina en forma de triangulo
We place our cardboard in the shape of a triangle
- Luego tomamos la del lado derecho y la introducimos hacia adentro, este procedimiento lo realizamos en ambos lados., quedando un rombo.
Then we take the one on the right side and introduce it inwards, this procedure is carried out on both sides, leaving a rhombus.
- Ahora levantamos la pestaña del lado derecho y la pasamos al lado izquierdo.
Now we lift the tab on the right side and pass it to the left side.
- Tomamos la punta del lado izquierdo y doblamos llevando al centro. Este procedimiento lo hacemos arriba y abajo.
We take the tip of the left side and bend leading to the center. We do this procedure up and down.
- Volvemos a colocar la pestaña en su lugar, y tomamos ahora la del lado izquierdo y hacemos el mismo procedimiento.
We put the tab back in place, and now we take the one on the left side and do the same procedure
- Quedando de la siguiente manera.
Remaining as follows.
- Realizamos los dobles tanto del lado derecho e izquierdo como lo muestra la fotografía.
We make the doubles both on the right and left side as shown in the photograph.
- Abrimos luego esos dobles y lo introducimos hacia adentro
Then we open those doubles and introduce it inside
- Quedando así
Being that way
- Volteamos nuestra cartulina, y realizamos dobles tanto de la punta de arriba como la de abajo.
We flip our cardboard, and double both the top and bottom tips
- De esta manera y con estos pasos tenemos ya la base de la calabaza de origami.
In this way and with these steps we already have the base of the origami pumpkin.
- Ahora procedi a tomar un trozo de cartulina de color verde, y coloque como tallo, y con marcador negro coloque los ojos y la boca.
Now I proceeded to take a piece of green cardboard, and place it as a stem, and with black marker place the eyes and mouth.
