2 days of rise before the lowering
Apologies to smaller cities but you will be paying less next week! If you have a small city as your only one, without heaps that you could invest into the game then chat in the dCity politics Discord channel if you are on there so I know who you are and you can be more involved as well.
For the next 2 days of distribution, the taxes will be slightly modified to keep with changing them about and trying to benefit all sorts of people and their strategies or their cities. This will be up a little higher than it is now but then after the 2 days we will see them lowered some more below the 29% it is at now too.
We are going to replace eco tax with war tax and put basic tax to 6%, which will bring it to 35% while the income tax is at 13%. This will swap out the income generation of one for the other to give a bonus to those with Military Industrial Complexes now they have gone days without it, allowing people to pay less tax when they don't have one while war tax is turned off.
Upon completing these 2 days, the war tax will come off again to bring taxes down to 25% (if still at 13% income tax) and I will swap out jobs tax for eco tax for some days during the week, which can then be traded back for the jobs tax and will decide what else from there as well.
Now when I once again take off the war tax, I don't want people that previously complained a lot, to complain again. I said I would put it back on and are showing I am and that I take a hit when it gets turned off due to buying a whole bunch of MIC myself, as the mid and long term gain is worth getting them.
dCity is a really solid game to both invest in and enjoy, having a variety of strategies and city builds which will be increased once we finally receive the 3rd edition cards and updates, which is apparently bringing in combining cards as well. Combining cards would change up how many strategies would be in play and the stats/effects of them, however it is done.
Add in the 2 new tech trees we are meant to be getting and we have a bunch of new stuff already!
