I am thegoliath
Coming out of Adelaide, South Australia, I ended my Steemit journey about 5 months away from three years with me joining in August of 2017. Now I am continuing by being on Hive and still being in for the long haul.
I have completed multiple courses in my attempt to gain employment which have included Cyber-Security, Software Development and some older ones of Business & Marketing to which I have had multiple casual jobs in either marketing, call centre work or other for some extra cash when I needed it yet I had some bad luck with poor companies or supervisors who were just horrible.
But I keep learning and trying to further myself through any interest I have including learning some game development, slowly trying to learn how to make Artificial Intelligence and much more!
My content creation started many years ago with YouTube being the initial target back in the day, recording and gaming with my cousin and friends and just having fun until I ran into some PC issues and I wasn't up to recording anymore either. Then eventually I got into streaming on Twitch which including sharing content on Steemit as I love to play games and I want to keep it going by bringing it here, to Hive.
VR is my new home
Ever since I bought my Oculus Rift S in early March, I have been making the money used to be well spent by using it a lot and for a variety of things. IF I have to self-isolate completely (nothing new for a gamer like me) then I can just use it to enjoy games, the homes and experiences I have to use. I even wear my robe when the day is cooler and feel all snug and cozy to make VR just that bit more enjoyable, to be super enjoyable!
You got your home to which can be decorated with items you have unlocked and usable (SteamVR also has numerous environments to download for your home there) which includes having light sabers to play with, a big screen TV to watch Netflix or anything on, streamed from your PC like you were using that monitor that you chose to broadcast from which is pretty cool and have tried an episode on it!
There will be my VR game development which will be slow but of course, continually progressing and hopefully become something people can enjoy, if they have VR themselves. Many more things will be enjoyed on this purchase of mine, the best purchase I have ever made!
Drawing
Now it have been a while since I have done any drawings and I miss it. I would love to start working on some more freehand, cartoon drawings which I will look at a picture I like and then draw it myself. It's a matter of time and working out when I got the few hours to sit down for it as the method I use takes times, but gets to be pretty precise for the most part, for a freehand drawing too.
Flashback to my second ever drawing with my method, wanting to just draw because I felt like it and being happy with how well I can do when I put my mind to things!
I have started going over them more now to add life through darker lines and eventually will start doing colour and learning shading, to make them much, much better.
What I want from Hive?
Well I love it when people actually enjoy the content I share be it from my gaming posts and videos, drawings, photos I may share or anything I decide to post about, it's a great feeling when people like and support your content.
I want to support others for their hard work like I would want from them because I know the satisfaction it would give them to get that support.
Making new friends and having awesome people to talk to while sharing what we love to do and talk about. It helps to be sociable at times (except while we can't right now and until the world is back on track) even if I don't like people that much, except for those that are actually nice and good to me and not horrible. 😄
Finally I want to help support the Hive blockchain and our goal for proper decentralisation and to have somewhere amazing to go because the normal world social media, Facebook/Twitter etc is so boring these days and not rewarding at all.
Happy to be hear like I was for Steemit before you know who acquired Steemit Inc XD
So thank you all for your past, present and future support and I hope to always bring you some quality content to enjoy!
