Hello, Everyone!
Last month, I finished an Art project (not connected to D&D or Mary) and since then I've been feeling quite uninspired. Didn't have the 'spoons' to come here and post. Even now, I'm doing it just.because.I.have.to.do.SOMETHING. I hope that this period will be a short one.
Anyway, here's another one of the colorized illustrations from previous chapters. This one is from The Eye of the Storm - Part 4.
There was a door about thirty or fourty feet ahead, but on its left and right, two statues stood.
No, Mary thought. Not statues.
Golems.
(...)
The moment her foot crossed the red line, the Golems' eyes flared in green and they raised their swords.
I don't know why I chose pinks and purples for the whole scene. The actual fight was quite cold-coloured, even greyish, and the golems were silver and gold. I guess I wanted to leave the 'canon' and just let myself go wild with the color.
And I think it turned out quite interesting.
Oh, here, I found a photo of the actual fight, for all the D&D enthusiasts out there.
I hope next time I post won't be after such a long pause. See you then!
Take care and be well!
(Also, here's a link to the Chapter Guide, the Glossaries (Part 1 and Part 2)
and the Map for the series. You're welcome!)
An important disclaimer: Mary Windfiddle's story is my notes from a D&D game turned into a narrative. All the worldbuilding and NPC encounters belong to our DM, and all the actions of the other main characters (Aurum, Bruno and Agatha) belong to my co-players. My contribution to the story is only everything Mary-related (actions, reactions, inner thoughts), as well as the writing itself.
