It was the march 30th 2018, i surfed around web3 and some interesting topics. There was a conversation with a bernie sanders, a guy who's not much appreciated, it seems. Anyway, in the comments I found a couple of good conversations on quality content and the trending page.
While I was reading along, one man kind of impressed me and I thought, lets follow him to see what he's about on here. Like so many times, my life is guiding me and this time it has impressed me again, as it did so often.
In the afternoon this man I just started following offered in his entry "Get the Amazon # 1 Bestselling Book, Creativity! Now for Free! Hurry, Offer Ends Today!" and curious about this, I clicked the link in it to get this book online, just: it was on amazon and if possible I try to avoid biggies like them. So I went in to the comments and asked @markrmorrisj - "only on amazon". He replied: Resteem this post and upvote it, give me an email and I'll send you the pdf.
So I did as he offered and this morning I had the book in my emails. I opened the book and.... just finished it in one read. Excellent stuff from a man, you can feel he knows this business and what he is talking about. The part of "I being impressed again about life" is, since five years I am living outside the system, kind of like the guy of "Into the Wild". And since I would like to share all I can with everybody, I often have much to much ideas in my head. The change in my life is so immense that sometimes I feel like lost and hopeless. Like too many things going on at the same time. I was stuck with lots of inspiration. I felt that I am doing so many different things but not the ONE thing.
Now, dear Mark, your words were exactly what I needed to get my focus back on what I want to do. Like you wrote:
If you want to write, but have no ideas, cook! If you want to paint, but can't see the picture, write a story. Play piano, build a table, paint a wall, make a gift for a friend, do anything to get your creative juices flowing.
And that was my eye opener, because that what is happening in my life, so I couldn't let go of your pages. Here I finally found some answers to my dilemma. Like when you wrote:
As you think about it, give it room to be what it is... You'll know when an idea finds its right shape... Just like your body has a skeleton, creative work needs to be hung on something solid... You are going to have a lot of crap. Some of it needs to be discarded later, but unless it is actually garbage, if there is any chance it will inspire you more later, keep it.
VoilΓ . Finally someone who is really talking to me. And this goes on and on in your book. I thank you for this inspiration who lead me out of my labyrinth back on my road to the goal.
So, because I would like to give Mark something back for his excellent work and the enjoyable read I had, I write to everybody out there trying to get it together in the world of art, music or whatever... I recommend this book big time, it's about your creativity and all the well being you are looking for and all this to the price of less than a good meal. Worth it. To finish with his words, I know for a fact it's real:
Many artists fail, simply because they fail to work. They assume that inspiration should be waited for and make the fatal mistake of not doing anything until βthe spirit moves themβ.
And by the way Mark, I'm quite interested in your personal world domination through social media plan. You still got my email, don't you. :D
