This seems like second grade stuff honestly. If your goal is to reach the maximum amount of people, and get paid for it, you'd think you would post anywhere and everywhere that there was an audience willing to listen and a dollar to be made.
Doesn't Hive have both of those???
Audience? Check.
Paid for content? Check.
I do understand that there is a threshold where someones time is worth more than the potential payout. But it would make sense that if you are an established YouTuber, with a few hundred thousand followers, that 10 minutes of your time to crosspost your newest video to Hive would be time well spent, would it not?
I'm trying, and slowly building up my YT presence. I don't have many followers nor do I have thousands of views. But my main goal besides those 2, is to inform and educate prominent YouTubers about why Hive could be a big boon for them.
This doesn't mean they have to stop posting on YouTube.
On the contrary, it's just another revenue stream. And it is my hope that once enough people start realizing that, Hive will become their #1 home over YouTube.
I know that will probably take some time...for two reasons...
Either Hive will need to boost its user base 10-100X, to semi-compete with the amount of traffic YT brings their content creators.
OR...
The price of Hive needs to 10X so that the payouts for these YouTubers is worth their time to be here.
It's a little like the chicken & the egg scenario.
Which comes first?
Mass amounts of people and then a 10X price of Hive?
Or a 10X price of Hive which brings in mass amounts of people?
Unless the token gets raised massively via speculators, my guess is that we need a much larger audience/user base before Hive can 10X, or more.
I plan on making a video relaying the benefits of Hive to prominent YouTubers.
The benefits of Hive, for those who have been here long enough are obvious...
-3 second transaction times
-"free" transactions
-censor free
-immutable blockchain
-own your content, etc...
So I ask you Hive Community, what else can I elaborate on that would make a prominent YouTuber want to crosspost here on Hive?
I thank you for your time and hopefully some great suggestions to help educate the big YouTube content creators.
Peace
