You can now get a visa debit card that allows you to spend bitcoin from your Coinbase wallet. The Shiftcard is a visa debit card that connects to your coinbase wallet and initiates sells as you make purchases.
It costs $10 for the card or replacements and $2.50 for atm withdrawals, but there are currently no transaction fees to spend bitcoin like a normal bank card.
You just need a verified coinbase account https://www.coinbase.com/ with 10 bucks in it.
Then signup for a Shift Card at https://www.shiftpayments.com/card and pay them for the card.
Once it arrives, you connect the Shift card to your Coinbase account and specify the wallet to deduct bitcoin from.
There is also an android app and ios app to check balances before spending.
