Hi, I will be updating or listing crypto coin that you should avoid investing, if possible. This is my personal opinion and any coin get listed or may get delisted in my writing. English and writing are not my strongest skill.
The list will continue to get longer or shorter (depending). This are my personal opinion and my own investment I make. I may be writing out of this out of anger or my personal view. Feel free to comment and let others know what coin to avoid.
Short version to avoid coin, from my experience:
- No team - it 2018, you need to show who are your team or at least indicated who you are such as on social media. We need to at least have some way of contacting you.
- Support page/communication - At least let us communicated with you or us
- Continued with missing deadline - If a coin fail to meet deadline mutiple time, it time for a sell
- Unknown or crappy exchange - if your coin only get listed on Yobit (yes I have issue with them) and coinmarket, avoid it.
- No product for a long time. Just avoid it.
- To good to be true such as you make money back within a month. Ponzi scam
- Dead coin, re-brith of a deadcoin, and back to a deadcoin. Expect to get scammed.
- If a coin went from 0 sat to 10 sat in a minute, expect a dump of that coin in a few days. Don't be a sheep and follow. Your just promoted why people should not invest in cryptos.
- PoS coin, any coin with PoS and cost under less then a one cent USD. Expect that coin to not survive. One person can inflated the price by holding the most coin.
- Avoid -
Embercoin/Antheum/Chartis - Avoid this coin. The embercoin dev was supposed to coin swap Embercoin to chartis , but couldn't do so due to a coding issue. So the team decided to abandon the coin and make the community to decide what to do the coin. The Chartis have it own original dev team and Ember to Antheum is now a community coin. I'm am pretty angerly with the fact that 99% of my investment in embercoin is lost. I hope Antheum can bring it back so I can sell it asap!
PacCoin - Sadly I invested this due to hype train build from a youtuber hype. After the coin swap, I already lost more than half of my investment. Will it moon again? I don't know, I will personally sell it to break even.
BCN or bytecoin. I will avoid this coin. I heard 1 guy own more then half of the BCN coin, more then the dev team. I have no idea why Binance even listed this coin! That 1 guy sure is rich with the BCN listing.
SHLD - Stronghand - Avoid this coin, it got no value or anything and only people who buying it are hoping to make huge profit. If you wanna risk your money and hoping for a pump, go ahead.
Bitconnect and bitconnectx. Currently this is a well known scam. This coin decided to exited and I was lucky to not have invested in the coin.
Devorcoin - Same as bitconnect. Another lending platform and is now gone from the market.
slothcoin - same as shld. Just a pump n dump coin to be honest. No value/product. Trying to copy the famous dogecoin.
Pac Coin - coin swap mess up, but worst of all is it feature. The Wallet is still buggy!
