People seem to be selling all their alt coins for BTC to get the BCC from the hardfork a few hours away, as a result the prices(in BTC value) of most coins keep dropping. BCC, in my opinion, is a sloppy, centralized(few people manage the code) version of bitcoin with little support behind it and the 8MB increase in block size can screw with node operators further centralizing BCC due to larger blocks leading to less hashers running full nodes.
Segwit on the other hand allows for more scalability and possible features to be implemented like the lightening network on an actually decentralized BTC.
I feel most people will be dumping BCC right after they get it for the actual bitcoin so the price will dip so fast that it will be hard to be one of the first to sell it for a good price.
I see that the best way to profit from this is to actually buy the coins that everyone is dropping at crazy cheap prices and wait for everyone to get their BCC and buy back the altcoins. After everyone is happy with their BCC they will redirect their attention back to the altcoin market and prices will rise once again.
The profit from the jump in price on the altcoins can be much greater then getting BCC and selling it.
Tell me below what is the route you plan on taking:
1) Buy altcoins and wait for BTC to flow back into the coins making huge % increase.
2) Hold your BTC to get BCC.
