Two weeks ago I asked folks Have you signed up for the Pied Piper Airdrop Yet? Looking at a parody coin being launched on ERC20 of the HBO hit TV Show Silicon Valley.
Well, last Monday, those of us who took advantage of the airdrop received our 750 tokens. the tokens were listed on EtherDelta and trading began.
I hadn't used Etherdelta before, so I thought I would just toss 0.1 ETH from my Metamask into the ED account and play around. That .1 ETH on day one of Pied Piper Coin Trading netted me 4500 PPI coins.

Not knowing what this coin would do, I set a sell ladder with some reasonable and some unreasonable sell orders. Regardless of how unreasonable they seemed, THEY ALL HIT!
In fact, my most unreasonable Sell order was nowhere near the trading high for this coin in the less than two weeks it has been in existence. In day 1 I made over 2 ETH from my .1 ETH deposit.
I've been trading the highs and lows of the coin, collected a bounty for the post linked above, and socked my 750 airdrop coins on my Ledger so I can't be tempted to sell them at the wrong moment.
What else have I done with the profits?
I still hold a total of 2000 PPI. I have some even more ludicrous sell orders sitting on EtherDelta looking for a buyer. I have 650 safely on my MetaMask wallet ready o quickly transfer to any exchnge that shows a huge price jump.
I transferred a little bit of ETH over to Cryptopia and bought a small bag (10,500) of Global Cryptocurrency (GCC).
I used a bit more on Cryptopia to buy some OPC that I will swap for OPCX and add to their OPCX shared Masternode. (74,999 OPC Purchased)
I deposited some over to Binance and increased my bag in Icon (ICX) buying 50 more coins there.
I connected up to IDEX and purchased 130 DAXT shares as well as 1675 SS coins.
I went to the wrong trading pair on ForkDelta and purchased 550 Kryll (KRL) at twice the going rate because I thought I was buying more PPI at hafl the going rate. WHOOPS! Good thing Kryll is a project I was already invested in and it is a bag I am willing to hold onto.
I bought two "Rare Pepe Cards"
And, because I was using profits from PPI to buy crypto, I decided I could use STEEM to buy Silver, and turned 85 STEEM into an order for 9 ounces of Silver Rounds that will be shipping to me soon.
For a minute, I was a Billionaire:
Someone bought 0.018 PPI at a rate of 5500 ETH per PPI which made the value soar last night for a second. Until the next order went through at market price and dropped me back down to earth. But it was a fun minute. I pre-ordered my Tesla.
I had Fun!!!
During this Crypto Downtrend when most of our portfolios are red, PidePieperCoin has given me a reason to log in to exchanges again. I've done more trading and accumulating in the past 10 days than I had done the prior 3 months, maybe longer.
Some people are saying PPI is a shitcoin, there is no project, the guy who runs it is just in a cash grab, whatever. If it goes to Zero, I am still up tremendously from my buy in price and having fun with it while the fun lasts.
Last night, @cryptocandor Interviewed the man behind PPI and it was a funy and funny interview. You can check it out, right here on Dtube - https://steemit.com/dlive/@cryptocandor/2d4d645d-5eee-11e8-82ff-0242ac110002 give her an upvote and listen to what "Richard" has to say.
There will be a One Pager coming out n Sunday with the ideas of what the future looks like for PPI, if it is at all legitimate, the price of PPI could soar even further based on the ravenously supportive Telegram channel the coin has.
I'm not saying you should buy at the current price of 0.0011 ETH, and certainly don't risk what you can't afford to lose, but take a look and keep an eye on the steemit account @piedpiercoin, the twitter account by the same name, and decide for yourself.
As I said before, if nothing else, it's good for a laugh!
