So many coins out there, don't you think? Half are scams, other half are "hopeless" honest attempts, third half are as good as an immortal burger from Mcdoland's, 4th half is... sorry I did not take math in school, didn't like it. But how can you keep up with all these juicy coins and their upwards trend?
Sometimes looking at different graphs of different coins, you feel like you have missed alot of opportunities, regardless of the massive gains you have already made.
This will be a series of posts highlighting 4 different coins in each post, with a short description about each coin. I hope it would shed the light on certain coins that "in my personal opinion" have a great future and the current price (as of JAN-9th of 2018) is still affordable to stock up on. Some of the information here is also provided on the official websites of the listed coins in higher detail, this is just an assortment of appetizers being served on one table for your own convenience.
1. Elixir:

Elixir (ELIX), Previously known as Timereum (TME), this unique Ethereum based coin is manually mined through time, not needing bulldozer sized mining equipment or high electric bills. Elixir also provides lending services where users get rewarded for giving, receiving and paying off loans on time. Started as Timereum in august at the price of 0.03 $ (3 Cents), then went live on Novaexchange. A short while later it was delisted from the exchange due to issues in TME deposits and withdrawals (I honestly do not know the details), which caused problems on the Exchange platform and people believed that it was doomed to fail "including my self" just like many other coins out there. Due to this issue, developers reacted quickly and announced Timereum 2.0 which later became Elixir, that move from the developers provided a greater hope for TME holders that their investments did not go to waste, and provided all TME holders with a 1:1 ratio Elixir through MyEtherWallet, Developers are very active, which is a key factor in the price, not to forget the total supply of ELIX is low. hurray!

2. Decentraland:

In the current age, what is a hotter topic than Virtual Reality and VR based services and platforms? Decentraland is literally a decentralized virtual world, you buy real estate, rent it, build on it, sell digital assets, all with their official coin MANA , a full virtual decentralized economy. The ICO of Decentraland raised over 20 Million USD back in August in less than 3 minutes, at token price of 0.024USD. I waited over two weeks looking at the countdown counter on their website, when ICO started there was high traffic on the site as usual, so I refreshed the page in an attempt to try and start contribution and all I could see is a "Thank you all for participating in Decentraland token sale, sale has ended", and that is when I had to go buy a new keyboard since mine shattered into pieces.
I would not be surprised if Ebay or Amazon end up opening in Decenetraland in the future. Currently there is a Decentraland Auction Event, it is typically auctions in Decentraland to bid on land and claim it, the most expensive land so far went for an approximate of 100,000 USD value in MANA, it is a land right infront of Genesis Plaza which is at the heart of the city. After this event is over and all lands are claimed, Decentraland will move to the IronAge which will add multiplayer support and players will start interaction through VR headsets, add custom modifications to the land you own. Imagine the huge price jump when IronAge starts, Imagine the price of Land as this project improves towards their SiliconAge, not to forget that MANA price has been in a constant rise since their auctions started. On the other hand, all MANA used to claim lands won in the auctions will be burnt after the event is over, MANA on lost bids will be returned to the users' wallet, so Just HODLing MANA or buying land is a great investment until the end of this year and even further.

3. Red Pulse:

RedPulse is originally a platform that provides real-time feed on many different topics, it helps categorize the current economy of the Chinese market for easy viewing and research purposes, so it existed a while before their ICO. RedPulse token (RPX) is the first NEO based token and it was one of the most hyped ICOs at the time of the announcement. Unfortunately, a short while before the original ICO starting date (September of 2017), china put a blanket ban on all ICOs, it was very sudden, that is where NEO and the RPX ICO got affected the most. At the time NEO price suffered a significant drop and the RPX ICO got postponed until further notice, they are both heavily Chinese based.

Around 20 days later, where most were hopeless, on September 19th I received the wonderful Email:
Honestly there were no tears of Joy, because at the time I had spent most of my NEO that I had kept for the ICO on other coins, but still had some and proceeded to the ICO. The service RedPulse provides has a world dominating market behind it, China! So I believe RPX will have a bright future, also considering it is the first NEO based token is another great plus. Their ICO ended in around 1 hour raising in total of 14.5 Million USD, RPX token price was 1,000 RPX / NEO, considering NEO was around 36 USD at the time of the ICO, this would set the price of 1 RPX token to 0.036 USD (3.6 Cents).
The current price of RPX is around 0.70 $ (70 Cents), and could be found on Kucoin. RPX is the reason why I registered at Kucoin even though I have never heard of the exchange before that, I believe after being listed on more exchanges price will keep rising to above 10$ for the short term.
4. Electroneum:

Electroneum was created to simplify accessibility to Cryptocurrencies, it is powered by an App and is operated on it's own Blockchain. You can store, send, receive and even mine Electroneum through your smartphone. The purpose of Electroneum is to provide ease of access to the majority of the population, and as a gateway to the Cryptocurrency world. The smartphone mining of ETN is not actual mining, it is mining simulation, after keeping the app opened in the background of your phone, based on hardware specs, you will be rewarded ETN equal to the mining power of your smartphone as if it was actual mining, with a monthly cap of ETN equal to 30USD per account, so basically the app is just idle on your phone which does not consume any power or memory, but you can still mine through GPU just like Ethereum and many other coins, awesome!
Unfortunately, at the launch date of Electroneum on exchange websites with the App, Nov 1st, it was heavily attacked by hackers which brought all its servers down and rendered their online dashboard and the app useless. The only available ETN at the time was Electroneum that was GPU mined. I was one of the contributors, I could not log in and had my ETN stuck in my wallet more than a month.
There was a huge craze on social media with claims that it is a very successful scamcoin, the population of crybabies at the time increased by 10 fold and the market ran out of diapers. I did not worry too much since scamcoins usually provide a miserable Whitepaper and the team behind the coin is always unidentified. ** ScamCoin example at the end of this post
Electroneum kept all their social Media profiles updated with live videos from their offices, latest news and development to assure people that their funds are safe. They joined forces with HackerOne to amplify their security and successfully relaunched on December 13th, since then all is a good as new. The price of 1 ETN at the time of the ICO was 0.01 USD (1 Cent), raising one of the most successful ICOs of all time in total of 40 Mil USD.
The current price of ETN is around 0.16 $ (16 Cents), and could be found on Cryptopia.
