Introduction:Buddy is a development and deployment platform for building applications on blockchain. It optimizes and streamlines the collaboration in the process of building application on blockchain.
What Does It Do?
In simple explanation, we know that building application is not a simple process, it needs lot of revisions and trail-and-error steps to complete the forming of a successful application.
I'm not just talking about the non-developers. Of course, non-developers face more troubles when compared to the developers, but usually they depend on the developers or companies who does work for them in the field. But when come to the developers, they do a lot of work, they need a lot of tools, need a lot of tests in the process. For this they need a lot of support for the tools and compilers to complete the successful application. For this they have to depend on the companies who do business at it. The companies collect a lot fee for this.
Buddy focused at the point and it offers to build the applications with its own optimizing and streamlining capabilities and build application on blockchain.
It cuts the boring part of the application building process, it makes easier to make the applications to build easier in designing and its interface.
History of the Buddy:
The company was established in 2015. Its team started working on reducing the repeated work and time-taking tasks of the designing application on the platform. It focuses on the building applications on blockchain with ease in its design and interface.
The Buddy system has the following methods to solve the issues happened in building apps process:
—> Automation Marketplace:
This is AppStore or PlayStore on the web for market. It does have automatic scripts to submit and sell for free or premium. Developers can submit their own scripts too if they want.
Exchanges use BUD token to buy or sell in the market.
—> Blockchain Ops:
It does have built with automation scripts to test and apply in the process of blockchain projects. So the developers can easily utilize it to waste no time to test or applying the repeated tasks in the process of the project.
Currently it supports EOS, and the team is working to support ETH, NEO, ICX and more. We will see the support for these platforms too very soon.
It does not only ease the process of the project, but it does also help adoption for the new developers to enter into the blockchain platform.
—> Private Automation GRID:
Buddy offers private automation GRID to automate the process (auto-discovery and replication) within local and private hardware environment.
—> Shared Automation GRID
Shared Automation GRID is alos same as Private Automation GRID but here the off-load instances are allocated to others on the network. This is the difference.

Testing the Product
Buddy is already a working product. Go to its website (https://buddy.works/) and sign up for an account.
After creating an account, sign-in and test the Buddy by selecting related account like GitHub for GitHub platform testing. Then it will be associated with the GitHub and you will see a form for adding pipeline.
It is easier to work with.
EOS Integration
EOS is the alternative to Ethereum. It is better than Ethereum as it offers lesser costs and better efficiency. The major advantage of the EOS is it is possible to update smart contracts in this platform.
Buddy can be applied to utilize on the EOS network.
With Buddy users can use it for transaction value, implementing security process, and to test the stability etc.
No need of manually testing, every time developer pushes a commit to the branch, Buddy will build and test the EOSIO smart contracts. And if the developer works with a team, they can automate notifications when a team member pushes a commit to the branch.
BUD Tokens and Economy
Currently more than 7000 developers have been utilizing Budddy tools for their projects. And it will use its own tokens called BUD to create economy. By using BUD tokens, developers can make purchases in the automation market and utilize automation GRIDS.
It also make developers earn from sharing their tools when users buy from them.
Partnerships
Since it was founded in 2015, it has partnerships with the cloud leaders Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, GitHub, DockerStore, AWS Marketplace.
