Yes, yes, you heard right - the first phone in the world that works from a decentralized network. And I was not mistaken in the declension of the word "works", a prototype phone exists, and it is already successfully connected to the test network f (x).

First, it’s worth talking about the appearance of the XPhone phone. At first glance, the XPhone is a futuristic device from the distant 2012 - a large and thick case with large buttons. However, this appearance of the phone was not chosen by Function X project for a reason - it allows the phone to fully work in two modes - normal and blockchain.
All owners of XPhone can easily change their appearance on their own. All source files for design will be uploaded by developers for free access. Each owner can edit the appearance of the XPhone as he wishes, or radically convey it. This is not important, the functionality and equipment of the phone is important, and the appearance will not affect it in any way.
As for the operating system, a modified Android operating system will be installed in XPhone. The modification will allow you to use all applications and games without adjusting them for f (x). Simply put - XPhone owners can easily download any application from the Play Store and use it without restrictions.
It is not yet fully known what characteristics the XPhone will have. However, I very much doubt that they will be minimal, because in order for the device to work on the blockchain network, it must have good and large memory and performance.
As I wrote above, the f (x) operating system will have two operating modes - normal and blockchain. In normal mode, phone owners will be able to make calls via a regular mobile telephone network with a SIM card installed, and in blockchain mode, they can make calls, transmit and receive information in a secure mode, that is, through a decentralized blockchain network from Function X.
The preliminary sales announcement has already taken place, but the preliminary sales themselves will begin, most likely in September-October 2019. The delivery of phones to their owners will begin at the end of 2019, if there is not, some kind of emergency at the Function X project. Let's hope so. After all, I also want to become one of the owners of an exclusive XPhone phone.
