Our private pre-sale, which was reserved primarily for family, friends and early supporters of the project, is now completely sold out and we hit our private sale cap of US$1 million.Thanks to everyone who participated privately — your trend-setting faith in the project has enabled the BABB team to do the work we’re passionate about.Thank you.

Public pre-sale status: registrations closing soon
Registration for the BABB public pre-sale went live at the end of last week, and the response over the weekend has been off the charts.The hard cap for the pre-sale is US$9 million — which we’ll hit if we sell the full pre-sale allocation of 10 billion BAX tokens.
With a week still to go until the pre-sale opens, almost twice this amount has already been pledged by over 5,000 registrants.
We anticipate that there is a good chance we will hit the hard cap relatively quickly, so we’ve decided to implement three conditions to make the pre-sale as fair as possible. And if you miss out on the 25% pre-sale discount; don’t worry! There will be a 15% discount on the first day of the main token sale.
Here’s what we’ve decided to implement…
1. Closing registration
Due to the high demand, we anticipate closing registrations some time before the start of the pre-sale at midday GMT, Monday15 January.
If you would like to participate in the pre-sale and get 25% discount on BAX tokens, please be sure to register well in advance. We will open registration for the main token sale soon after closing pre-sale registration.
2. Pre-sale individual caps
We want to make sure that our early supporters are able to participate in the pre-sale. Therefore, we have decided to implement a system of individual caps, to give as many people as possible the chance to get involved.
For the first 24 hours of the pre-sale (until midday GMT Tuesday 16 January) you will only be able to send a limited amount of ETH. We will announce this limit after we close pre-sale registration.
3. Suspended pre-sale wire transfers
During the first 48 hours (until midday GMT Wednesday 17 January), only ETH contributions will be accepted. We will only accept wire transfers after those 48 hours, if the pre-sale hard cap (US$9 million) is not met.
We’ve taken this decision because wire transfers can take up to five days to complete, by which point we may have sold out. We want to avoid disappointing people and having to return funds which arrive after we hit the pre-sale hard cap.
If you are able to participate using ETH, please do this! (Please note, there is a 0.2 ETH minimum contribution.) If you have no choice other than to participate via wire transfer, you may get the chance to do so after midday GMT Wednesday 17 January.
Registration stats
Over 5,000 people who have registered for the BABB pre-sale so far, and it’s been really interesting to see who our supporters are. We are a truly diverse global community!
Our home country the UK loves BABB the most — 15.8% of everyone registered so far has UK-issued ID. This is closely followed by the USA at 14.3%. The keenest European country is The Netherlands with 5.5%. Australia (6%) and India (5.4%) both also account for a decent chunk.
Our youngest registrant turned 18 last week…and our oldest is 72! She’s from the USA and sent us a very cool selfie.
It’s amazing to see the support for and interest in BABB pouring in from every corner of the globe. Keep it coming, you awesome bunch.
