Who are you, what is this, and why is Peepcoin being called DAPS?

Peepcoin's original developer was dishonest and promised much more than he could provide to the people who were original members and investors into his project. Many of the people experienced the developer dumping to near 0. This happens alot in crypto, but with new eyes and fresh blood, Peepcoin is being wrestled back to life. Our purpose? Sticking it to developers who don't realize the potential of the projects they start. Peepcoin was designed as a coin for the people, but the original developer wasn't acting in good faith.

As of 2018, the Peepcoin community has taken over development and launched a new roadmap for Peepcoin. Among this is a rebrand to DAPS, a 1:1 swap, emission changes, airdrops, and solid plans to improve the codebase and build a new foundation for further features.

Disclaimer: I am a single member of this community, I claim no ownership or credit for this coin or the current development team, but I am proud to be considered an advisor in this transition. Many of the team members are committed and have a long term vision. All of the community decides how Peepcoin-DAPS proceeds. I personally own 1% of Peepcoin, bought on the open market. I take no salary from this project, and I do not plan on accepting any portion of future development funds.

DAPS (Decentralized - Anonymous - Payment - System) is an old coin with a new purpose.

DAPS is a planned 1:1 swap of Peepcoin-PCN, with new features and tweaked specs. Controlled inflation, long-term airdrops and ultimately decentralized governance powered by masternodes across the world are key to this mission. A main push for DAPS is to anonymize assets, and secure an infrastructure for development of further features. DAPS aims to be more than a coin, but a culture.

Why DAPS?
In traditional blockchains, the users are exposed to analytics. Oppressive governments around the world use this data to track and punish cryptocurrency users. We aim to preserve everyone's right to control their finances as they see fit.
