When my wife and I tried our hand at day trading, we learned that most of the folks that won at the stock market were long-term holders. Day trading was hard because it was stressful unless you were a very sophisticated at trading and a master of automated tools. Longer-term holders seemed to make out all the time, because the stocks (especially from solid companies) usually went back up over time. The over all stock market always goes up over time.
I think cryptocurrency is the same way. If you hold long-term, you can make out well. Emotionally, you have to weather the storm and know that time is on our side. HODL.
