Blockchain Hires Facebook Vet in order to take on Coinbase.
The popular provider of digital Bitcoin wallets Blockchain, have recently launched a U.S cryptocurrency exchange service that aims to be competition with rivals such as Coinbase.
As part of the new venture, London-based Blockchain announced on Thursday that it had hired Peter Wilson, a veteran of both Google and Facebook, as its first vice president of engineering.
Coinbase has been reported to have been overcharging some users with some customers bank accounts being emptied.
A growing number of Coinbase customers are now complaining that the cryptocurrency exchange withdrew unauthorized money from their bank accounts. This has resulted in some users having their bank accounts emptied and now face overdraft charges.
