Is Litecoin Cash a Scam?
Litecoin ($LTC) is supposed to have a fork today that will give users 1 Litecoin Cash for every 1LTC they hold. This news has sent sent the Litecoin price rocketing upwards in recent days.
But all might not be exactly what it appears to be. The creator of Litecoin, Charlie Lee, said near the end of January of this year that any fork of Litecoin - by name - is a scam. He includes Litecoin Cash, Litecoin Plus also anything else that has the Litecoin name attached to it.
This does not mean that Litecoin Cash does not exist, only that its not directly connected to the original Litecoin (LTC).
If this isn't a scam, the creators of this Litecoin Cash aren't doing a very good job of acting like professionals. Their Twitter page should be an instant red flag along with the fact that they only created their identity a few weeks ago.
Be careful out there, whatever you do regarding Litecoin Cash. Please remember that Litecoin (LTC) and Litecoin Cash ($LTC) are run by different people. If you lose all your Litecoin an a Litecoin cash wallet then you have no come back with Litecoin.
