The Pillar Project is focused on providing us an improved and safer platform to the digital world such as having authority over our own data, the right to choose, privacy, diversity, pluralism and a lot more.
Pillar, backed by its own native token (PLR) is a platform which will implement the “Personal Data Locker”. It will be merged with browsers, exchanges etc, which will create a common point which is the Personal Data Locker. Pillar believes that the Personal Data Locker could replace Android and iOS as the operating system of our devices.

It starts with the Pillar Wallet
The Pillar Wallet is an open-source and multi-chain wallet that will power our phones, tablets, gadgets and even buildings and cars.
We have dozens of accounts such as social media, websites, exchanges, apps and each of them requires password, updates, permissions, networks and more. Most of them keep some of our personal information such as our money, credit cards and other important information and may be made available to other third party companies and worst, to hackers. They also charge us high fees for their services.
With Pillar Wallet, we can replace all of those accounts with an atomic ownership. By using the wallet we own our personal assets and can switch to different vendors freely. We can store all of our data and content on the wallet. We will have sovereignty over our personal information and no one could get into it without our permission. All of our personal data and assets will be safely stored and remain private in the blockchain.
We can send requests and will receive offers from the internet without the need for apps, logins and searching the web. We can order pizza, make appointments to our Doctors, find new business clients and a lot more without the use of other apps.
It will not just be a wallet but also our personal assistant. This project will not just serve us as consumers but will also be beneficial to companies and even the government.
The Pillar wallet is expected to be integrated to many systems and software, most probably thousands of them. These include browsers, exchanges, e-commerce, messaging apps, escrow and a lot more.
With this powerful use case and still much more to come, Pillar could reach mainstream adoption and that means it will be perfect for long term investment.
