So what makes Ubiq more special than other cryptocurrencies ?
Well the first reason is the fact that they will use a stable and proven branch from the older ethereum network code to guarantee the users that wants to implement their technology a hassle free experience.
The second reason is Ubiq won't change its code drastically(a few minor patches) so that the businesses using their blockchain technology won't have to adapt to a new program every single time an update comes out which will help to get even more potential investors.
The third reason is how the blocks will be mined (using a proof of work method) and rewards processed. Ubiq will have a block reward of 8 ubiq per block which will get less each year (+- 1 ubiq less) to battle inflation and keep the price of Ubiq stable, now the mining of Ubiq. The team implemented a slower block time(88 sec instead of 60) to keep the DAG file size smaller over a long time which will allow even 2 gigabyte Graphic cards to mine it for another 6 years (maximising your investment on your Gpu's).
