Yesterday I invested $2000 AUD in cryptocurrency - just hours before China deflated the balloon.
Just goes to show - not a one of us knows the future. Or even tomorrow.
Tomorrow...
A friend? Caring and kind?
Or cold swift steel? Heartless?
...More likely just another day:
Here: an investment in crypto (green, Green! GREEN!!) - then the fireworks fizzle (D'oh! RED!!!!!).
There: a suspected lump being checked out for cancer. What? No! But sometimes a lump is just a lump (crypto be buggered, This!).
And then there's: China messing with the markets.
So what's new?
New?
Try The Kim and Trump Show! In this episode the kids are in the sandpit - playing geopolitics like they're fiddling with themselves and thrusting their sad little spears into the desolate heart of the future...
Surprising? Not so much.
But hey. It's new (well maybe not new... but democracy succesfully curbed the destructive narcissism and the stoopid of uber-tools like these guys. For a while, anyways).
Change ain't surprising though..
Immutable.
Bankable.
We wander in it. All of us. All the time.
And sometimes the crypto is green..
And sometimes, the red bites 'til blood runs in the street.
But red bytes; green bytes, whatever. Change is coming.
Real change.
Because sometimes, sometimes, the world is turning.
